Notarial Power of Attorney for Acts of Ownership and Administration

This notarial service consists of drafting, executing, and registering a public deed of general or special power of attorney. A Power of Attorney for Administrative Acts allows the attorney-in-fact to manage the principal's assets, enter into lease agreements, carry out administrative procedures, and defend the principal's financial interests. The inclusion of the Power of Attorney for Acts of Ownership grants greater legal authority, enabling the attorney-in-fact to alienate, mortgage, donate, or sell movable and immovable property owned by the principal, acting as if they were the owner. This document is essential for individuals residing outside their home state or abroad who need to carry out urgent real estate or banking transactions without having to travel.

Technical documentation to be provided by the client:

  • Valid official identification of the principal (INE Voter ID, Passport, or Professional License).
  • Copy of the Unique Population Registry Code (CURP) and the Federal Taxpayer Registry (RFC) with the corresponding verification code.
  • General information of the attorney-in-fact (Full name as it appears on their official identification, nationality, occupation, marital status, and address).
  • If the principal is a foreigner, a document proving their legal status in the country (Multiple Immigration Form or Residency Permit).
  • If the power of attorney is specifically for a particular property, the property deeds with their registration information from the Public Registry of Property must be attached.
